IMAGINATION: Consequences of Global Climate Change

Image
It's the year 2100; we are living on a giant ship. Not every one of us got the opportunity to live here. We are one of the luckiest ones who have managed to have a little space on the ship. No lowland is above the sea water level anymore. They are under water with our resources as well as with our modern architectures. Some of the financially sound people like us have made this so far. But the so-called “far in the future “is not guaranteed. We have a few lands above the sea water level and they are not fertile enough to produce adequate food for ourselves. The food price is not high, it’s untouchable. In the meantime, we are intelligent enough to make some kind of nutrition pill. We invented many wonders to advance our progress in the world but unfortunately most of those were not environment friendly. Our way of living was in clash with nature that we are now at existential risk. Oh, I need a break to have some oxygen. Yes, we have oxygen crisis here too. We were much wealthier...

Human Rights of Internally Displaced Persons in Conflict Regions

Internally displaced persons, or IDPs, as defined by the United Nations’ Refugee Agency, are people that, unlike refugees, “have not crossed an international border to find sanctuary, but have remained inside their home countries” 1 . Like the rest of the world’s population, IDPs are entitled to the same human rights as those established by international human rights legislature and customary law. Furthermore, in periods of armed conflict, they have the same right to the protections provided by international humanitarian law as other civilians. The Special Representative for Internally Displaced Persons of the UN Secretary- General estimates the Global IDP population at 25 million. The Internal Displacement Monitoring Center...

Human trafficking which is one of the worst forms of human rights violation in the current world. Many countries are facing challenges to prevent this crime.  It is thought to be one of the fastest growing activities of transnational criminal organization .In order to find out the solution we need to dig deep of the problem. There are some reasons behind the human trafficking .From the perspectives of under developing country like  Bangladesh ,human traffickers are being able to convince  the people easily.
